MD Micro Detectors launches the new Ultrasonic Sensors
MD Micro Detectors is introducing the new Ultrasonic Sensors with TEACH-IN special function, that are available in M18 version, SU series, as well as in M30 version, TU series, with double threshold digital outputs and analogical voltage or current outputs.

TEACH-IN function, available both in digital output version and in analogical output version, allows the setting of maximum and minimum points, both in digital output version and in analogical output version. The digital version offers two PNP, NO/NC independent outputs, while the analogical version allows a precise setting of the output slope, both positive and negative; in this way the sensor is always used in its perfect working order. The new through-beam models are also available, and they are designed to be used in the board-guides of rolling machines and transports, thanks to their reduced lateral size. They are offered in UHZ series, that is particularly fit for short working distances (0...300mm), and in UHS series for the long ones (0...1100mm).

These sensors are suitable for:

  • level sensing (solid and liquid materials, dust, corn) as same sensor can produce a too full and too empty warning thanks to its double digital output
  • object thickness sensing (regardless the type of metal, wood, glass, plastic, ...)
  • material presence sensing (regardless the colour, the transparency, the brightness, ...)
