New M18 photoelectric sensors with short body and enhanced features: FQ series
MD Micro Detectors launches on the market the new M18 sensors with short body and enhanced features FQ series.
The photoelectric sensors FQseries has been designed for applications with extremely narrow spaces.

The axial or right angle optic and the M12 output, with axial o right angle cable, make these sensors suitable for any size need.
High performances are supported by a high reliability: the FQ series photoelectric sensor is manufactured both with plastic and metallic housing, completely fulfilled of resin, able to resist to the harsh working conditions.

The new models are available in the following models: direct diffuse - with sensing distance of 100mm, 400mm and long working distance up to 1200mm - retro reflective - up to a distance of 5m - polarized - up to 4m - for transparent objects detection - up to 1m - through beam - with a sensing distance up to 20m.

FQ series features are similar to those of a more expensive cubic sensor, but with the easy mounting and working capability of a cylindrical sensor.
The short body (it is about 30% less than wide used cylindrical versions) makes possible its use in all the applications where a standard M18 sensor can't be used because of the reduced mounting spaces.

The sensors, controlled by a micro controller, let possible personalization as output delay, anti-interference functions, enhanced sensing distance, beyound the high distance already available in standard models.
